The Driskill Hotel – historic downtown filming location

The Driskill Hotel, a Romanesque landmark built in 1886, is located in downtown Austin and has been used as a filming and photography location because of its preserved historic interiors and period architectural character. Filmmakers and commercial shoots use the hotel's lobby, ballrooms, and guest rooms when productions require an authentic late-19th/early-20th-century hotel setting. The Driskill's prominence on 6th Street also makes it a well-known backdrop for city-based productions.
