Gibson House Museum
By Seeker
Built in 1859–1860, the Gibson House is a preserved Victorian-era townhouse on Beacon Hill that retains much of its original interior layout and furnishings. It was the family residence of the Gibson family for generations and opened as a house museum to interpret upper-middle-class urban life in 19th-century Boston. The museum offers guided tours and programs focused on domestic architecture and social history.
