Death of Nancy Spungen at the Chelsea Hotel

Nancy Spungen was found dead from a stab wound in Room 100 of the Chelsea Hotel on October 12, 1978. Her boyfriend, musician Sid Vicious, was arrested and charged with her murder but died of a drug overdose before the case reached trial; the killing remains officially unsolved.
