Sutton Community Hall

The Sutton Community Hall is a historic building located in Sutton, Alaska, originally constructed in 1927 as a bunkhouse for workers on the Eklutna Power Plant. This single-story wood-frame structure features a unique design with multiple entrances and various types of cladding. After being relocated in 1950, it served as the main civic and social meeting space for the community for four decades. The hall was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2013, highlighting its significance in local history, despite its current state of disrepair.
