Painted Ladies of Alamo Square (710–720 Steiner St)

The row of Victorian houses at 710–720 Steiner St, commonly called the Painted Ladies, are late 19th-century colorful Victorian and Edwardian residences that face Alamo Square Park. They are architecturally notable for their preserved ornamentation and polychrome paint schemes and are frequently photographed with the downtown skyline in the background. The houses have appeared in popular culture, including the opening credits of the television series Full House.
