Memphis Brooks Museum of Art

The Memphis Brooks Museum of Art, founded in 1916, is the oldest and largest art museum in Tennessee. Its permanent collection numbers over 10,000 works spanning roughly 5,000 years, with strengths in 19th- and 20th-century American and European art. The museum is located in Overton Park and operates rotating exhibitions and educational programs.
