Sahara Las Vegas - historic mid-century Strip resort

Sahara Las Vegas originally opened in 1952 as the Sahara and became one of the Strip's classic mid-century resorts. The property was rebranded as SLS Las Vegas in 2014 and was restored to the Sahara name following renovations that culminated in a 2019 reopening. The resort's Googie-influenced signage and façade are notable examples of Las Vegas's mid-20th-century themed architecture.
