Byers-Evans House Museum (home of William N. Byers)

The Byers-Evans House was the residence of William N. Byers, founder of the Rocky Mountain News, and later Samuel Evans, both prominent Denver figures. The house, dating from the 1880s, is preserved as a museum that interprets the lives of these newspaper and civic leaders and the city's late 19th-century development. The museum contains period furnishings and exhibits relating to the role of the press and local leadership in Denver history.
