GM Renaissance Center (waterfront complex and cultural gateway)

The Renaissance Center, commonly called the RenCen, is a group of seven interconnected skyscrapers on the Detroit International Riverfront that serves as General Motors' global headquarters. The complex includes retail space, restaurants, and the Detroit People Mover station, and its plazas and winter gardens are used for public events and seasonal programming. The RenCen is a prominent symbol of downtown Detroit's corporate and riverfront redevelopment.
