Red Cube (Isamu Noguchi)

Red Cube is a large painted-steel sculpture by Isamu Noguchi installed outside 140 Broadway in Lower Manhattan. The tilted red cube, pierced by a circular void and set on one corner, is a prominent example of public modernist sculpture in the Financial District. It was commissioned for the plaza of the building and has been a recognized local landmark and frequent subject of photography.
