Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History

Established in 1965, the Charles H. Wright Museum moved to its current purpose-built facility in 1997 at its location on Warren Avenue. It is one of the largest museums in the world dedicated to African American history and culture, housing permanent and rotating exhibitions documenting the African diaspora and African American experience. The museum also hosts educational programs, community events, and research collections focused on Black history and culture.
