Building at 239 North Gay Street

The Building at 239 North Gay Street, also known as Spartana Electronics, is a historic Italianate-style structure located in Baltimore, Maryland. Built in 1875, this three-story building features a Full Cast Iron Front and significant exterior cast iron details. Its large window openings are adorned with Corinthian columns and segmental arches, although the street level has been modernized with a new façade. In 1974, it became the property of Anthony R. Spartana, who established an electronic supplies business there in 1925. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1994, making it a noteworthy site for both tourists and researchers interested in architectural history.
