G.W. Blackley House

The G.W. Blackley House, built in 1869 by local furniture maker George W. Blackley, is one of the oldest homes in Bristol, Tennessee, and is listed on the Bristol Register of Historic Places. Located at 122 East State Street, this federal style house reflects the craftsmanship of its era and stands near the historic East Hill Cemetery, where many Confederate soldiers are buried. As the first home constructed on East Hill, it holds significant historical value, with restoration efforts planned to preserve its legacy.
