The Exo Building

The Exo Building is a striking 17-storey office structure located in the vibrant Dublin Docklands, Ireland, at the intersection of North Wall Quay and East Wall Road. Standing at 73 meters, it is the tallest office building in the Republic of Ireland as of 2021. Its unique exoskeleton design pays homage to the area's industrial heritage, reminiscent of the cranes and gantries that once dominated the port landscape. The building serves as the new headquarters for An Post, the state-owned postal service, which plans to occupy six floors with around 900 employees. The site has a rich history, previously part of Dublin Bay and later used as a railway yard before transforming into a concert venue. Originally intended for a much taller residential skyscraper named The Watchtower, the Exo Building represents a modern architectural landmark in a historically significant area, making it an interesting visit for tourists and researchers alike.
