Hazel Glen

Hazel Glen was a historic house located near Port Penn, Delaware, built around 1859. This three-story, L-shaped brick dwelling showcased Italianate-Revival architecture with features such as a low-hipped roof, three-story porches, and a distinctive three-bay front entry porch supported by fluted Ionic columns. It was recognized for its historical significance by being listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978, although it was unfortunately demolished before 1991. The site offers a glimpse into the architectural styles and historical context of 19th-century Delaware.
