Lucius P. Buchanan House

The Lucius P. Buchanan House, also known as the Ralph L. Gray Alumni Center, is a historic Spanish Revival style home located in Joplin, Missouri. Built in 1926, this two-story masonry dwelling features a distinctive low-pitched tiled gable roof, arched entryways, and decorative wrought iron embellishments. The beautifully landscaped grounds, designed by the renowned landscape architects Hare & Hare, include gardens and a swimming pool. The house was transformed into an alumni center in 2011 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2012, making it a notable destination for tourists and researchers interested in architectural history.
