Ekmekcioğlu Caravanserai

The Ekmekcioğlu Ahmed Pasha Caravanserai, located in Edirne, Turkey, is a historic inn built in 1610 by Ottoman statesman Ekmekcioğlu Ahmed Pasha in honor of Sultan Ahmed I. Known locally as Küpeli Han and Deve Hanı, it features a unique architectural design with a central entrance hall and larger flanking halls, surrounded by smaller rooms and shops. Originally serving travelers and merchants, it has hosted notable figures like Evliya Çelebi. After falling into disuse in the late 18th century, it was repurposed for various uses before undergoing restoration from 2004 to 2008.
