Solitude Farm

Solitude Farm is a historic house located in West Whiteland Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1984. The house features a unique blend of architectural styles, with its original sections dating back to 1750 and 1761, showcasing a two-story, rectangular, stuccoed stone structure with a kitchen wing. In 1904, architect Milton Bennett Medary enhanced the property by adding diamond-paned dormer windows and a porch. Visitors can also explore the contributing stone barn, garage, and various outbuildings on the site, making it a fascinating destination for history enthusiasts and tourists alike.
