Escuela Técnica Raggio

The Escuela Técnica Raggio is a historic technical school located in the Nuñez neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Established in 1924, it is notable for being the only technical school in the city not affiliated with the National Council of Technical Education. The school features Neoclassical architecture with romantic arches and originally consisted of separate pavilions for male and female students. Although the female pavilion was demolished in 1960, the school remains a significant educational institution. It houses the Lorenzo Raggio techno-educational museum, which showcases important historical documents, including plans from the construction of the iconic Colon Theater. The school is a testament to Argentina's educational history and architectural heritage, making it an interesting site for both tourists and researchers.
