Siegfried & Roy's long-running Mirage residency and 2003 injury

Magicians Siegfried & Roy were longtime headliners at The Mirage resort, where their tiger-and-illusion variety show was presented for years as a signature Strip production. Their stage residency effectively ended after Roy Horn was critically injured by a white tiger during a performance on October 3, 2003. The incident resulted in the permanent cessation of their regular live performances at The Mirage. The Mirage property was developed as a major entertainment resort on the Las Vegas Strip.
