California Theatre - home of Symphony Silicon Valley

The California Theatre opened in 1927 as a vaudeville and movie palace and was later restored and reopened for live performance. It is the primary home venue for Symphony Silicon Valley, the professional orchestra formed after the closure of the San Jose Symphony. The theatre hosts the orchestra's regular classical and pops seasons and is a key venue in San Jose's orchestral music history.
