Dodge Building

The E. P. Dodge Building, located at 19-23 Pleasant Street in Newburyport, Massachusetts, is a historic Italianate structure built in 1873 by shoemaker Elisha P. Dodge. Originally a four-story shoe factory, it was expanded in 1880 to include a mansard section and additional space. The building operated as a shoe factory until the 1930s and is now utilized for commercial and light industrial purposes. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 and is part of the Newburyport Historic District, making it a notable site for tourists and researchers interested in industrial history and architecture.
