Cabin Ben

Cabin Ben is a historic log house located in Highlands, North Carolina, built in 1932 by local builder Joe Webb. Designed by Clemson University architecture professor Rudolph Edward Lee for Miss Anne England, this unique structure features two offset rectangular sections, accommodating a spacious living room, kitchen, dining, and bedroom areas. It remains a well-preserved example of Webb's craftsmanship, intended for large family gatherings, and has been maintained by the England family descendants. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003, making it a noteworthy destination for tourists and researchers interested in architectural history.
