Fisher Building (Art Deco landmark)

Designed by Albert Kahn and completed in 1928 for the Fisher family, the Fisher Building is an Art Deco landmark often called the "Cathedral of Commerce." The building's lobby and banking concourse are richly ornamented with marble, mosaics, and bronze fixtures. It originally housed office space and retail, and continues to be a prominent mixed-use landmark on Detroit's New Center campus.
