Kingsley Plantation (Fort George Island)

Kingsley Plantation is a historic plantation site on Fort George Island notable for its early 19th-century plantation house and surviving tabby slave quarters. The National Park Service preserves the house, outbuildings, and archaeological remains and interprets plantation life, including the site's enslaved community and the plantation owner Zephaniah Kingsley. It is part of Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve and is open to the public for tours and educational programs.
