Natural Bridge Caverns - commercial cavern system

Natural Bridge Caverns, north of San Antonio, is a large limestone cave system discovered by four college students in 1960 and opened for public tours in the 1960s. The site contains extensive stalactite and stalagmite formations, large chambers used for guided tours, and zipline/adventure attractions on the surface. It is marketed as one of the largest commercial cave complexes in Texas and conducts ongoing cave management and conservation work.
