Ympyrätalo

Ympyrätalo, or 'Circle House', is a distinctive circular office building in Helsinki's Hakaniemi district, recognized as a local landmark. Completed in 1968, it was designed by architects Heikki and Kaija Siren and is celebrated for its architectural significance in the 1960s, standing out among contemporaries. Originally housing the Kansallis-Osake-Pankki, the building underwent renovations in the early 2000s to modernize its facilities while preserving its historic charm. Today, it hosts various tenants, including a grocery store and a private clinic, and is conveniently located near the Hakaniemi metro station and multiple tram lines. A notable feature is the minimalist sculpture 'The Symbol', a 3-meter steel ball by Hannu Siren, adding an artistic touch to its entrance.
