The Kreeger Museum - Philip Johnson house-turned-museum

The Kreeger Museum is a private museum in a residential part of Northwest Washington housed in a building designed by architect Philip Johnson for the collectors David and Carmen Kreeger. The museum's collection includes works by modern and contemporary artists such as Picasso and Monet and is noted for being a museum-sized collection located off the primary museum corridors of the city. Its setting on Foxhall Road makes it less prominent to casual visitors to Washington, D.C.
