Arizona Biltmore's textile block design and disputed authorship

The Arizona Biltmore Hotel, opened in 1929, is noted for its distinctive patterned concrete "textile blocks" produced for the property and used throughout the hotel. The design is officially credited to architect Albert Chase McArthur, but Frank Lloyd Wright's stylistic influence and alleged involvement have been the subject of historical debate. The on-site manufacture and repeated use of the blocks are defining features of the Biltmore's architecture.
