Kimbell Art Museum (Cultural District)

The Kimbell Art Museum, designed by architect Louis Kahn and opened in 1972, is a landmark of Fort Worth's Cultural District. It is noted for its high-quality collection spanning antiquity to the 20th century and for galleries that use natural light through gently vaulted ceilings. A Renzo Piano–designed pavilion addition opened in 2013 to expand exhibition and public program space.
