Union Bank, Fremantle

The Union Bank in Fremantle, Western Australia, is a historic building originally constructed in 1889 after the bank purchased the site in 1881. Designed by architect William Edward Robertson, the building features a large banking chamber and residential quarters. After the bank relocated in 1930, the property was repurposed by the Church of England for the Flying Angel Club and later included the St Andrew's Mariners Chapel. Today, the site is part of the University of Notre Dame Australia and is located within the Fremantle West End Heritage area, making it a point of interest for tourists and researchers alike.
