Project Row Houses

Project Row Houses is a community-based public art and cultural organization in Houston's Third Ward, founded in 1993 by artist Rick Lowe. The project rehabilitated 22 historic shotgun houses and uses them as exhibition spaces for site-specific installations, murals, and artist residencies. It combines visual art with social programs and is widely documented as a landmark of community-driven public art in Houston.
