Fowle-Reed-Wyman House

The Fowle-Reed-Wyman House, located in Arlington, Massachusetts, is a remarkable example of First Period architecture, built around 1706. As the oldest structure in Arlington and one of the best-preserved First Period houses in the area, it features a two-story wood-frame saltbox design with a central chimney and clapboard siding. The house has a sympathetic addition from around 1915 and was originally constructed by John Fowle, later owned by the Reed and Wyman families. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in early American history and architecture.
