Dr. Chester Hunt Office

The Dr. Chester Hunt Office, located in Windham Center, Connecticut, is a historic building dating back to the early 19th century and is a rare example of Federal period architecture. This small wood frame structure features a distinctive gambrel roof and original clapboard siding. It was used by Dr. Chester Hunt as a medical office and dispensary in the mid-19th century. The building retains many original elements, including handcut nails and stencilwork, and was moved to its current location near the Windham Free Library.
