Mummers Parade competition at Philadelphia City Hall

The annual Mummers Parade on New Year's Day is a judged competition of volunteer clubs in divisions such as string bands, fancy brigades, fancies, and comics. Clubs perform choreographed routines and compete for prizes awarded by judges who evaluate music, costumes, and performance. The parade has been held on Broad Street and judged near Philadelphia City Hall for much of its modern history.
