Christopher H. Smith House

The Christopher H. Smith House, known as the Queen of the Cumberland, is a historic site in Clarksville, Tennessee, built between 1856 and 1859 for a tobacco merchant. This architectural gem showcases Greek Revival and Italianate styles and has been a part of the National Register of Historic Places since 1988. After remaining in the Smith family until 1919, the house was repurposed as a community center in 1986, making it a significant cultural landmark for both tourists and researchers interested in antebellum architecture and local history.
