Tarlton Theatre

The Tarlton Theatre, located in Green Bay, Wisconsin, is a historic Streamline Moderne theater originally built in 1925. Initially an auto dealership, it transformed into a cinema in 1941 and has undergone several renovations and name changes over the decades. After closing in 2000, it reopened as the Historic West Theatre, then briefly operated as a nightclub before being repurposed for various retail and dining ventures. In 2018, it was renamed The Tarlton Theatre, focusing on affordable programming and community partnerships. The venue now hosts a mix of films, performances, and events, including a collaboration with the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay and the Green Bay Film Festival, making it a vibrant cultural hub in downtown Green Bay.
