Portslade Town Hall

Portslade Town Hall, located in East Sussex, England, is a historic municipal building originally known as the Ronuk Hall and Welfare Institute. Built in 1928 in the Neo-Georgian style, it features a striking symmetrical facade and was initially established as a social club for the employees of Ronuk Limited, a local polish manufacturing company. The building has served various purposes over the years, including as a British Restaurant during World War II. In 1959, it became the headquarters for the Portslade Urban District Council and continued in this role until 1974 when Portslade merged with Hove Borough Council. Today, it houses community services and has been refurbished to include new offices and a community hub, making it a vibrant part of local life.
