Benjamin Davis House

The Benjamin Davis House, once a prominent Victorian Carpenter Gothic residence in Lansing, Michigan, was designed by architect Darius B. Moon in 1889. It was commissioned by Benjamin F. Davis, a successful businessman who founded a wheelbarrow company and a bank. The house featured unique architectural elements, including a Chinese pagoda on the roof and multiple porches. Despite its historical significance and efforts to rehabilitate it, the house was ultimately demolished in 1972 after years of deterioration following Davis's death in 1934.
