Coit Tower and the Lillie Hitchcock Coit legend

Coit Tower at 1 Telegraph Hill Blvd was funded by a bequest from Lillie Hitchcock Coit and completed in 1933; its interior contains a series of Depression-era murals painted under New Deal art programs depicting aspects of San Francisco life.
