Colcord Hotel - early reinforced-concrete skyscraper

The Colcord Building at 15 N Robinson was constructed for businessman Charles Colcord and is credited as Oklahoma City's first reinforced-concrete framed high-rise. The building's original Beaux-Arts and early skyscraper architectural details were preserved when it was converted and restored as the Colcord Hotel, a boutique hotel occupying the historic structure. The hotel retains interior and exterior historic features that document early 20th-century high-rise construction in the city.
