St. Paul's Chapel - George Washington's Pew

St. Paul's Chapel, built in 1766 at the foot of Broadway, is where George Washington worshipped while New York served as the first national capital; his marked pew is preserved in the chapel. The chapel is part of Trinity Church Parish and has been maintained with artifacts and interpretation relating to colonial and early federal-era New York.
