The Rodin Museum and The Thinker

The Rodin Museum on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway houses one of the largest collections of Auguste Rodin sculptures outside Paris and features a cast of The Thinker in its landscaped garden. The collection was assembled by collector Jules Mastbaum and the museum opened in 1929. The museum’s outdoor sculpture garden is accessible to the public and is a well-known cultural destination in Philadelphia.
