Fred C. Thomson Building

The Fred C. Thomson Building, also known as the Court of Olive, is a historic retail building located at 6528 West Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, Los Angeles. Designed by the architectural firm Gogerty and Weyl for silent film star Fred Thomson and his wife Frances Marion, it was constructed between 1927 and 1928. The building showcases stunning Spanish Colonial Revival architecture, featuring smooth stucco walls, multi-lite wood casement windows, and a hipped red-tiled roof. Over the years, it has housed various tenants, including the famous Cat & Fiddle pub and has been designated as a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument.
