291 Broadway, also known as the East River Savings Bank Building, is a striking 19-story skyscraper located in the TriBeCa neighborhood of Lower Manhattan, New York City. Designed by the renowned architecture firm Clinton and Russell, this historic building features a beautiful Beaux-Arts and Historism style, characterized by its light stone facade and intricately carved columns and medallions at the base. Originally serving as the East River Savings Bank, it later became the national headquarters for the YMCA from 1949 to 1980, during which it also housed the YMCA Historical Library.
