Detroit Industry Murals - one of Rivera's largest U.S. mural cycles

Diego Rivera painted the Detroit Industry Murals at the Detroit Institute of Arts in 1932–1933 as a 27-panel mural cycle on the DIA's Rivera Court. The cycle depicts the city's industrial life and is widely regarded as Rivera's most ambitious American commission. Art historians and the DIA describe it as one of the most extensive mural cycles by a single artist in the United States.
