Bank of the West Tower (Albuquerque)

The Bank of the West Tower, standing at 64.9 m (213 ft), is a historic highrise office building in Albuquerque, New Mexico, completed in 1963. Once the tallest building in the state, it is now the fifth tallest and the tallest outside Downtown Albuquerque. Designed by the architectural firm Flatow, Moore, Bryan, and Fairburn, the tower features a striking exterior adorned with gold ceramic tiles and large plate glass windows. Originally housing a bank, the building has a rich history, including a members-only city club on its upper floors. Although it has seen various name changes and ownerships, the tower remains a notable landmark reflecting Albuquerque's urban development. Currently vacant and up for auction, it offers a glimpse into the architectural and economic evolution of the city.
