Mechanics Building (UC Berkeley)

The Mechanics Building, also known as the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Building, was a historic academic structure at UC Berkeley, completed in 1893. Designed by architect William F. Curlett, it served as a hub for engineering studies and housed various laboratories for mechanical and electrical engineering. The building underwent several name changes, reflecting its evolving focus on engineering disciplines, before being demolished in 1965 to make way for new facilities.
