San Antonio Central Library rooftop terraces

The San Antonio Central Library, designed by Ricardo Legorreta and opened in 1995, includes rooftop and stepped terraces that rise above the surrounding streets. These terraces provide elevated, semi-private views of downtown San Antonio and nearby historic districts that are not apparent from street level.
