Elks Club Building (Manila)

The Elks Club Building, located in Manila, Philippines, is a historic structure that once served as the clubhouse for the Manila Elks Lodge #761, a branch of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. Founded in 1905, the club's original building was completed in 1910 and designed in the Mission Revival style by architect William E. Parsons. The building has a rich history, having been used by the U.S. High Commissioner during the Commonwealth period and later suffering destruction during World War II. Rebuilt in 1949, it now houses the Museo Pambata, a children's museum, making it a significant cultural site for both tourists and researchers interested in Manila's history and architecture.
